The best regional restaurant is for the restaurant which we would like to come there even taking long train or airplane. Two restaurant has awarded from south and west Japan.
For south award, Japanese cuisine Takamura(日本料理 たかむら) has awarded, which is serving Edo era style foods.
For west award, Tokuyama sushi(徳山鮓) has awarded, which is sushi bar with serving seasonal local food as sushi.
This award must be the edge of Japan food industry, you must watch it.
